HAC’s Member Legislative Planning Session on Wednesday, October 15, from 12:00-2:00pm will focus on shaping HAC’s state legislative package for 2026. The bills and reforms we advance in Sacramento have some of the biggest impacts on housing production across California and we want your expertise to guide where we focus our efforts.

As housing industry leaders, HAC members know better than anyone what works (and what doesn’t) in moving projects forward. Your insight will help us decide which state-level policy levers to prioritize: financing tools, impact fees, zoning reforms, permitting streamlining, small business and tenant protections, or other changes that can unlock more housing and produce better urbanist outcomes.
