Tuija is also a former Mayor, Council Member and Planning Commissioner for the City of Clayton.

Todd David is the Political Director of Abundant San Francisco with a background in local politics. Former Executive Director of HAC, he played a key role in Scott Wiener’s State Senate campaign. A public school parent and founding member of the San Francisco Parent PAC, Todd also managed campaigns like the 2016 Recreation and Park funding measure and the 2014 Soda Tax. Beyond politics, he serves as the President of Residents For Noe Valley Town Square and Friends of Noe Valley.

The Executive Committee serves as HAC's core governance body, overseeing board recruitment and composition, organizational health, and legal and fiduciary responsibilities. It also provides strategic leadership on fundraising, HR matters, and Executive Director oversight to ensure HAC remains well-resourced and accountable to its mission.

The Policy and Endorsement Committee evaluates and advises on legislative, ballot, candidate, and housing policy matters — from local ordinances and state legislation to legal actions and election endorsements. Members bring deep policy and political expertise, applying a DEI lens to ensure HAC's positions reflect its values and advance equitable housing outcomes.

The Programming Committee shapes HAC's member experience by informing the strategy behind membership tiers, events, educational programming, and the recruitment and onboarding of new members. Members bring expertise in fundraising, event planning, and networking, with a DEI lens applied to ensure HAC's programs and membership reflect and engage diverse voices across the housing industry.
