The Mission Rock ballot measure would allow the San Francisco Giants to exceed the existing height limits (0 feet) of the site and build approximately 1,500 rental homes, integrated with commercial, retail and 14 acres of open space. The plan also proposes that 40 percent of the homes be below-market-rate (BMR), ranging between 45 and 150 percent of the Area Media Income. The site is currently occupied by a surface parking lot.
