The Housing Action Coalition is pleased to endorse The Commons at Aliso Viejo Town Center transforming surface parking into a mixed-use project that will bring 362 homes and 5,769 square feet of ground floor commercial space.

The Housing Action Coalition is pleased to endorse 338 S. Alhambra Ave. in Monterey Park which will bring 64 new homes to the local area and utilizing a density bonus to provide both townhomes and apartments with stellar design and open space.

CANDLESTICK PLAN
The Housing Action Coalition is pleased to endorse the new Candlestick Plan to bring 7,218 new homes. This project will help meet the state-mandated goal of 82,000 new homes with an astounding 32% dedicated to affordable housing. The project also includes a completed Alice Griffith public housing complex that brings 337 100% affordable homes to the area. Address: Harney/Jamestown Ave.

650 UNIVERSITY AVE (PALO ALTO)
650 University Avenue is a mixed-use project that will bring 63 new, well-located homes to Palo Alto. The site is based in a pedestrian-friendly downtown, and includes 13 designated affordable units providing essential homes for lower-income residents.

2395 Sacramento will bring 24 new, well-designed homes to a transit-oriented location in San Francisco. The project will revitalize a historic and underutilized space in the heart of Pacific Heights and reconnect it to the neighborhood.

The Housing Action Coalition is pleased to endorse Google’s Bayshore Master Plan project in Mountain view that will transform a low-rise office park into 7,000 homes, with 15% (1050) being subsidized affordable homes. The project prioritizes walkability and transit around housing, open space, and commercial space.

MISSION POINT
The Housing Action Coalition is excited to endorse Kylli’s Mission Point project that will bring 1,800 Homes to Santa Clara, along with 100,000 square feet of retail space, and 11 acres of public open space.

BAY WALK
The Housing Action Coalition is excited to endorse the Bay Walk project in Pittsburg that will redevelop a vacant power plant into 1,999 much needed homes. The project will also bring 53,000 square feet of commercial space, along with and 18 acre industrial center.

REDWOOD LIFE EVOLVE
The Housing Action Coalition is pleased to endorse Longfellow’s Redwood LIFE Evolve project that will provide unprecedented investment in off-site housing in the area, with $85 million going to affordable housing in Redwood City. This project itself will create an amenity center, hotel, and large trail and green space.

123 INDEPENDENCE DR.
This project brings 432 new homes to the City of Menlo Park, including both rental apartments and for-sale townhomes. The project also includes an on-site public connection, leading to a centrally located neighborhood park, which provides a recreation area and gathering space for the community.

MIDDLEFIELD PARK MASTER PLAN
This comprehensive redevelopment plan will add 1,900 high-density residential homes, along with 1,317,000 square feet of office space and approximately 10 acres of public parks and open spaces to the Middlefield Park area of Mountain View. The project will also dedicate 2.4 acres of the land to the city for future affordable housing development.

HAC is proud to endorse Avalon Bay’s project at 555 West Middlefield Road in Mountain View. The project will add much needed high density, transit-oriented developments to help alleviate our region’s housing shortage, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

EL PASEO DE SARATOGA
El Paseo de Saratoga is an innovative new project that brings 994 new homes, 149 of which are affordable, to the San Jose area. As one of the largest projects in the South Bay, El Paseo de Saratoga makes a significant contribution toward alleviating the region’s severe housing shortage.
