This 6 story mixed-use building brings 68 new homes to the San Mateo area, 15% of them being below-market-rate, along with office space in the building as well.

HAC is pleased to endorse this 100% affordable project from Hines and Habitat for Humanity at 1111-1227 Arguello Boulevard in Redwood City. This project will create 33 new for-sale homes for low-income families, with access to on-site childcare and within walking distance of downtown Redwood City and several transit options.

HAYWARD PARK STATION

PUC SITE
The Housing Advocacy Coalition is proud to announce its endorsement of AGI-KASA Partners’ proposed project at South San Francisco’s PUC site. After an extensive presentation from the project team, our Project Review Committee determined the proposal would help address crises caused by our housing shortage through creation of well-designed new homes, located near transit. The Committee would also like to highlight the various difficulties associated with maximizing the potential of the site to serve the community with housing.

PASSAGE AT SAN MATEO
This proposed project on the corner of Concar Drive and Delaware Avenue in San Mateo is part of a larger project of San Mateo’s Rail Corridor Plan Area. This site though will house 935 homes, including 72 affordable units, and 35,000 square feet of public and retail space with a Trader Joe’s. BRISBANE BAYLANDS
The Universal Paragon Corporation proposal would build over 4,400 homes integrated with office, retail, hotel and open space on what is now over 600 acres of vacant, industrial land. However, the City of Brisbane is supporting an alternative proposal that would include up to two million square feet of commercial space, without any housing.
