We’re incredibly excited about this year’s event and want to make sure our attendees have all the important logistical information. In terms of what, when, and where, Housing Heroes is on October 16 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the Salesforce Amphitheater at Salesforce Park Amphitheater in Downtown San Francisco (Note: see “How to get to the Amphitheater” below for specific instructions).

Things to know before the event:

  1. The Salesforce Amphitheater is outside. We’re crossing our fingers for warm weather, but you know San Francisco. Gas heat lamps are NOT allowed, so please bring layers. We will have a coat check.
  2. Part of the event space will be grass. Plan your shoe-choice accordingly.
  3. The event is at the Salesforce Transit Center (we encourage you to take public transportation!)
    1. FROM BART/MUNI: The park is 0.2 miles (walking) from the Montgomery Station.
    2. FROM CalTrain: Get off at 4th and King and take the N-Judah (MUNI) to Montgomery.
    3. FROM the East Bay: AC Transit, WestCat, and SFMTA Treasure Island Service all arrive at the third-floor bus deck of the Salesforce Transit Center
  4. If you’re driving, there are parking garages nearby.

    2. 85 2nd Street, Open until 10pm
    3. 199 Fremont, Open until 10pm
  5. How to get to the Amphitheater – Once you arrive at the transit center, follow the instructions below to get to the Amphitheater
1. Enter at 47 Minna Street (click here for Google Maps)

2. Enter the elevators on the ground floor alongside Shaw Alley.
Don’t worry if you take any other elevator up;
just follow the arrows and signage that will guide you to check-in.
3. Go to the 4th floor (Park)

4. Exit the elevator to the LEFT

5. Walk to the end of the alley to get on the path

6. Turn RIGHT, and walk to toward the Amphitheater

7. At the end of the path, you will enter the amphitheater by the Check-In desk
