September 2021: What a Month!

In addition to celebrating a wide array of housing legislation victories, some of our other September highlights included:

  • Welcoming our first-ever Communications Associate Miles Johnson, and our new Development & Operations Associate Abbie Tuning to HAC’s steadily growing team!

  • Endorsing an exciting new project at 2880 Alum Rock in San Jose.

  • Winning approval for new homes in Hayward at 25501 Mission Blvd.

  • Waging advocacy campaigns for new homes in San Francisco at 4512 23rd Street, 450 O’Farrell, 1101-1123 Sutter, 425 Broadway, 1324 Powell, 1900 Diamond, and a supportive housing project at 33 Gough.

  • Advocating for more homes in the North Ventura Coordinated Area Plan in Palo Alto and at The Mark in San Jose.

  • Championing legislation involving ADUs, water reuse, zoning reform, large residential, and Housing Elements in San Francisco.

Housing Action Coalition

The Housing Action Coalition (HAC) is a member-supported nonprofit that advocates for building more homes at all levels of affordability to help alleviate the Bay Area and California’s housing shortage, displacement, and affordability crisis.
