As 2015 comes to a close, we’ve spent some time analyzing what we’ve accomplished this year as an advocacy organization who’s ultimate goal is to increase housing opportunities for San Francisco residents at all income levels. Thanks to our 286 business, organizational and individual Friends of the SFHAC members we’ve increased our impact as an organization. Take a look!
In a nutshell, 2015 was a major growth year for our organization. We invested in a Community Organizer, growing our staff to four. By starting a new individual membership category, the Friends of the SFHAC, we’ve been able to engage more residents in the housing dialog. We grew in leaps and bounds through our ramped up communications, housing education, direct actions and Project Review Committee. And we plan on doing even more in 2016 with the help and support of our members! If you aren’t a member of the SF Housing Action Coalition, we invite you to join our organization. We have a membership level that’s right for you! Check out the perks of membership and our membership fees here.
If you were a member in 2015, THANK YOU! We owe our progress to you. Stick with us in 2016, we’re only getting stronger and better with age.
