Newly elected policymaker and longtime housing leader Councilmember Tordillos. Elected to represent District 3 on the San José City Council, he brings deep housing expertise and years of experience from their time on the San José Planning Commission.

Nia Bratton, Public Affairs Manager at The Michelson Center for Public Policy brings her expertise in tenant protections, research, and policy advocacy. Nia will walk us through current tenant-focused legislative efforts and the trends shaping renters’ rights across the state.
