Project Review Committee: Brisbane Baylands

The San Francisco Housing Action Coalition will step outside city borders to review a plan just south of the county line in Brisbane. Universal Paragon Corporation has a proposal to build a mixed-use community, including 4,400 homes on what is currently over 300 acres of vacated property. However, the City of Brisbane is encouraging a plan that includes all office and hotel development, with zero housing. Given the regional significance of this site and its proximity to San Francisco, we decided it would be appropriate to weigh in.
