Planning Commission Hearing for Interim Controls in Mission

This Thursday July 9 the Planning Commission will hear legislation that will further restrict new housing in the Mission District. The Planning Department have proposed interim control legislation which would make building new housing in the Mission even more difficult than it is today by adding more layers of scrutiny to the approval process for projects of 5 or more units which are not 100% affordable.
