Community Meeting: Dedicated Teacher Housing in the Outer Sunset

The Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) has selected a site in the Outer Sunset to create new housing specifically for teachers and paraprofessionals. The identified site is the Francis Scott Key Annex at 1360 43rd Avenue (pictured above). The site is currently owned by the SFUSD and occupied by a temporary community gathering space and play area called Playland at 43rd Avenue. Additionally, Mayor Lee dedicated $44 million for the project, which will include approximately 135 homes.
