12th Annual Spring Symposium
May 22, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm PDT
Over the past year, the focus on housing at the state level has been met by the NIMBY outcry for protection of local control. Conflicting beliefs have led us to ask, “who decides who lives in the Bay Area?” We are honored to host Senator Scott Wiener (Senate District 11) and Mayor Libby Schaaf (City of Oakland) to discuss the relationship between city and state, and how they may work together to solve the present housing shortage.
