Assembly Bill 1815 (Wicks)
What the bill does:
Prohibits local jurisdictions from imposing or enforcing building standards that exceed the state minimum building standards on a factory-built housing project.
Why this bill matters:
We need to reduce the cost of construction and by only having Factory-Built Housing subject to state and not local building code, we can ensure safe buildings without unnecessary costs.
