SFHAC/BayHAC Continue to Grow as Communications Director Joins Both Teams

San Francisco Housing Action Coalition (SFHAC) and its recently created regional arm, the Bay Area Housing Advocacy Coalition (BayHAC) announced this week that Mallory Lynn Hill of Oakland joined both organizations as Communications Director.

“We’re confident that the professional and personal perspectives and experience Mallory brings to the table will help SFHAC and BayHAC connect the public, stakeholders, and leaders to our work, and we value the ‘broader Bay Area’ viewpoint Mallory brings to the team”, said Todd David, Executive Director of both organizations.

Growing up and attending public school in, and now advocating for building welcoming Contra Costa and Alameda counties, Mallory is passionate about helping maintain the inclusive values that have always defined the region while reinvesting in and elevating the Bay Area’s long-neglected communities.

“SFHAC and BayHAC are at the forefront of the fight for the kind of California we can be and must be, and I’m excited to join this dynamic team at such a critical moment for our communities.” added Lynn Hill.

Mallory graduated from Mills College in Oakland and attended East Bay public schools. A passionate volunteer advocate for more abundant housing, HAC’s first Communications Director brings added experience in political communications, San Francisco elections, and sustainable transportation policy to HAC. Previously to joining HAC, Mallory spent almost five years working to address homelessness and affordability in Portland, Oregon, working with and alongside neighbors recovering from chronic addiction and transitioning out of incarceration and homelessness, and supporting the management and development of over 1500 units of supportive and affordable housing.
