Regulatory Committee: HOME-SF + Central SOMA Plan

Our Regulatory Committee will cover two important items:

Supervisor Katy Tang and Kearstin Dischinger with the San Francisco Planning Department will present the recently introduced HOME-SF program, which aims to create housing for the City’s families and workforce through the use of a density bonus. The legislation would also bring San Francisco into compliance with the state density bonus law and require 30 percent on-site affordable housing for low- and middle-income workers, as well as 40 percent two-bedrooms in all new buildings that use the law. 

Steve Wertheim, also with the Planning Department, will give the latest update on the Central SOMA Plan, which is beginning its public approval process.
