Love vs Hope: Social Housing & the City

April 15, 2014 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm PDT

Join us for our SFHAC/SPUR & SFAIA lunchtime housing series, Love vs Hope: Social Housing & the City by lauded architect Daniel Solomon from Mithun | Solomon. This is a story of collision between two antagonistic city dreams. Part of each dream is about how cities house their working people, and their poor. One dream is The Continuous City, based on love of the layered history of the city. The second is The Ruptured City, based on hope for a city, more rational and humane than the layers history bequeathed.

Free to SFHAC, SPUR and SFAIA Members.

$10 for non-members
