How Many Homes Should We Have?

June 27, 2017 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm PDT

How Many Homes Should We Have?

The Bay Area’s housing shortage has led many residents to cite affordability as the top issue facing the region. With most voters supporting additional housing, how much does the Bay Area actually need to build? How much needs to be subsidized and for whom? Where should we build? Our panel will discuss these questions and more as they attempt to grapple with one of our region’s most pressing concerns. Co-presented with SPUR.

Ted Egan | San Francisco Office of the Controller
Pedro Galvao | Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California
James Pappas | San Francisco Planning Department
Libby Seifel | Seifel Consulting
