The SF Housing Action Coalition’s Housing Heroes Awards recognizes exceptional accomplishments of our award recipients who truly embody what it means to be a housing hero.

Barbar Gualaco is the Director of Real Estate Development for Mercy Housing California. Over the past 27 years, she’s used determination and wisdom to build a truly remarkable portfolio of affordable housing in San Francisco for those who need it most.
Supervisor Scott Wiener
Sup. Wiener has been an exceptional and fearless City leader who advocates for building more housing of ALL types and at ALL levels of affordability.
