In the Name of the Environment

The California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) was originally created to help the state protect the environment, but a comprehensive statistical study released last year shows that CEQA lawsuits actually hurt the transit, renewable energy and infill housing development projects that would further our state’s environmental goals.
