Join Housing Action Coalition on March 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for “Best Practices for Presenting at Planning Commissions,” a hybrid webinar (on Zoom and at the HAC offices) designed for HAC members and emerging developers who want to secure entitlements more effectively and build long-term credibility with decision-makers.

This session will cover how to research your local planning context, align your proposal with General Plan and ordinance “findings,” and structure clear, professional presentations that anticipate commissioner and community concerns. Participants will learn practical strategies for preparing for public hearings, responding to staff reports, and following up in ways that strengthen relationships with staff and commissioners, helping to advance more housing in their jurisdictions.
