Looking into the Future: Walking Tour of the Dogpatch Neighborhood

San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood is experiencing a renaissance. New housing and businesses are reinvigorating the area, creating a vibrant community with its own unique character.

Come walk the Dogpatch neighborhood with the SF Housing Action Coalition and the people who are shaping the area’s future. Guest speakers will give the inside scoop at five sites where under-utilized spaces are being transformed into mixed-use developments that incorporate housing, retail and open space. Projects include work from AGI Capital, Avalon Bay Communities, Build Inc., Forest City and Fletcher Studio. The tour will conclude with a private tour of Pier 70, which will soon be home to over 2,000 residents and 9 acres of waterfront parks.  All the gear you need is a good pair of walking shoes.
