SF BoS Hearing – 2022 Housing Element Policies
November 15, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm PST
From now until the end of 2022, the city of San Francisco will be updating its Housing Element – an eight-year plan (2023-2031) for how the city is going to build enough housing to support the need of its current and future residents.
On November 15, the Board of Supervisors will have a public hearing to share an update on the status of San Francisco’s housing element and take public comment to hear input from San Francisco residents.
Join the Housing Action Coalition next week, as we urge the Board of Supervisors to pass a Housing Element plan that:
- Meets RHNA Targets
- Utilizes current AMI levels
- Continues to support beneficial housing policy
- Streamlines housing approvals to make new homes available for residents sooner
- Complies with State Law
The hearing will take public comment in person at San Francisco City Hall and online on Zoom.
