Planning Commission Hearing for 75 Howard Street
September 3, 2015 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm PDT
On September 3rd, after more than four years of talks with the district supervisor, the Planning Department and neighbors to design a project that the City would accept, the Planning Commissioners will decide whether a relic from the old Embarcadero finally passes the test, and we need your support.
The Commissioners will vote on whether to approve this downsized code-compliant, 220-feet tall condo project, contributing $8.9 million in lieu fee payment to MOH to build 30 new affordable homes. The SFHAC reviewed and strongly supports the 75 Howard project which would tear down a 550-space parking garage, replacing it with 132 condos and would also pay $915,000 million more for future open space in the Transbay neighborhood. Despite compliance with the planning code, 75 Howard is at risk of derailment and the Commissioners need to hear that you support their approval.
Save the date for Thursday, September 3rd and speak up with us in support of this SFHAC-endorsed project. If you’re able to make it or have any questions, please complete the RSVP form below.
