If you haven’t figured out by now, let’s be very clear. Housing legislation can change on a daily, even hourly basis. We previously told you that the Board of Supervisors was going to vote on a portion of the Affordable Housing Bonus Program on Tuesday, June 28. However, they decided to postpone that vote until July 12th. There have been a few changes to both the Mixed-Income Program and the 100% Affordable Program. In Supervisor Katy Tang’s latest newsletter, she explains:
There will not be any public comment at the hearing on July 12th and a compromise could be reached between the 100% Affordable AHBP and the competing, Density Done Right. The San Francisco Housing Action Coalition supports getting Sup. Tang’s legislation approved at the Board of Supervisors on July 12th.
