Tour the MicroPAD: Housing for the Homeless

Local builder Panoramic Interests has a creative idea to house San Francisco’s homeless. Dubbed the MicroPAD, this 160 square foot steel, modular unit can be built and assembled much faster and more affordably than most new housing. For two weeks, starting October 31, a MicroPAD will be parked (literally) on the corner of 9th and Mission Streets for the public to see and walk inside. SFHAC members can get a private tour to get a more intimate look at the unit and experience what it’s like to be inside one. All attendees will receive a free drink voucher for BCC, the bar located next door. Please RSVP.
