Regulatory Committee: Mass Timber

Dean Lewis of DCI Engineers will present on mass timber, a unique construction type that is common in Europe but rather foreign to the U.S. He’ll cover how it’s different from traditional light frame, how it’s addressed in the building code, some advantages and disadvantages plus examples from other cities and what it means for San Francisco. All SFHAC business and organization members are encouraged to attend. RSVP not required.
