Join the Bay Area Housing Advocacy Coalition (BayHAC), SPUR, and California YIMBY for a conversation with Jason Elliott and Kate Gordon. Jason Elliott is a top advisor to California Governor Gavin Newsom on housing and homelessness. Jason has previously served multiple mayors in San Francisco and currently serves as a Senior Counselor to California Governor Gavin Newsom for housing & homelessness. Kate Gordon is the Director of California’s Office of Planning and Research. Kate has spent the past two decades working at the intersection of climate change, energy policy, and economic development.
Moderated by Graciela Castillo-Krings of Sacramento Advocates. Graciela joined the Sacramento Advocates lobbying firm in 2019, with more than 15 years’ public service in California government, most recently as Deputy Legislative Affairs Secretary to Governor Jerry Brown.
